Sofia Larsson
My name is Sofia Larsson and I live in Skövde. Painting is like meditation for my slightly messy head, haha. The interest in aesthetics has probably always existed in both painting, singing and playing instruments. But art really became my passion and became more professional only a few years ago after a few successful vernissages.
I am self-taught and paint everything possible, mainly what I feel and am inspired by in the moment; everything from large, abstract paintings to cool, cool and strong women in hats, but also colorful portraits. I always paint on rather large, stretched canvases and mix techniques such as acrylic and oil, but also liquid acrylic, a cool technique where you pour out the paint and blow on it by hand, with a blow dryer or with a burner. It will be incredibly effective and beautiful!
Together with my partner, who is also an artist, I run Artbyleolarsson and we have built a studio in our garage where we love to hang out. We sell both original and art prints, which are now found in many homes in both Sweden and Europe.
My ambition is to add color to the home, make art that is personal and unique and gives a home character.
